Industrial Rope Access

About Us

We’re a local, independent industrial inspection and rope access company, based in Teesside, North East England. We support clients across the region and beyond, working at height in complex and demanding environments where experience and sound judgement matter.

Our technicians are fully IRATA trained and certified, with revalidation every three years to ensure skills, knowledge, and decision-making remain current. While rope access is a highly technical discipline, we believe the way the work is carried out is just as important as the method itself. Our approach is straightforward — plan carefully, communicate clearly, and carry out the work safely and efficiently.

As an independent company, we take pride in being flexible, responsive, and easy to work with. Many of our clients return to us not only for our technical capability, but because they trust how we operate on their sites.

Meet the Team

Behind every project is a close-knit team of experienced and multi-disciplined rope access technicians who rely on each other.

Working on the ropes requires calm decision-making, trust, and clear communication. These qualities are built through experience, teamwork, and a strong safety culture. Our team understands the responsibility that comes with working at height — not just to each other, but to the people, assets, and operations around us.

We’re approachable, practical, and professional. We take the time to listen, explain our approach, and integrate smoothly into wider site operations. For us, professionalism isn’t about formality — it’s about doing the job right first time and leaving the work site safe.

How We Work

Every project begins with a site-specific assessment, carried out in line with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and the hierarchy of control for working at height.

We carefully consider site conditions, operational activity, hazardous areas, and the safety of people and plant. Rope access systems can be installed and dismantled quickly, helping to reduce disruption and downtime.

Where required, we also utilise MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Working Platforms) to provide a robust and flexible access solution tailored to the site.

DROPS Survey

As part of our working at height services, we offer DROPS (Dropped Objects Prevention Scheme) surveys, often carried out in conjunction with scopes while permitted access is already in place. This sweeping exercise gives the client a flavour and severity of associated equipment and fixings in this area at height.

  • Phase 1: A detailed thorough visual inspection to identify loose, damaged, or degrading items, recorded in an optimised DROPS tracking system in accordance with the client criteria.
  • Phase 2: Remedial works or removal of identified items, completed in line with the client’s instructions.

Safety

Safety underpins everything we do.

IRATA training reinforces not only technical competence, but discipline, teamwork, and accountability. All works are planned and executed in accordance with the Work at Height Regulations 2005, with clear communication and supervision throughout.

Rope access is widely recognised as one of the safest methods of working at height, but we know safety comes down to decisions made on site. For us, it’s never a tick-box exercise — it’s a shared responsibility and a daily practice.
